Many RV manufacturers hook the RV running light to the preinstalled mount.

So you need to turn on the lights in your car to get the running lights to come on to power the RV backup camera.

What do I do if the camera doesn't immediately activate after connection?

Your RV/trailer's "pre-wired" camera lines aren’t getting power. Some pre-wired systems only send power to the camera when headlights are fully on.

What is the the maximum memory card size the unit can take?

The system supports up to128GB SD card. (*It does not come with a SD card.)

Yes, the camera lens can be adjusted up or down 45° for optimal viewing angle.

Why does wireless camera even need wiring?

It is a wireless solution that transmits images from the camera to the monitor via a wireless signal. But it does not mean there’s zero wiring, you still need to power up the wireless unit from your 12V power source.
